The aim of the Ox-Cam project was to reduce flood risk by encouraging take-up of property flood resilience (PFR) measures and techniques by residential and commercial property owners and tenants, and by influencing a range of relevant business and public sectors to incorporate property flood resilience into their 'business as usual'.
The Ox-Cam project (2020-2022) was run by North Northants Council, and was one of three UK Property Flood Resilience Pathfinder projects were funded by Defra/Environment Agency.
My role on the Ox-Cam project was Evaluator, working with colleagues at Resources for Change (R4C). The R4C evaluation involved baseline and final population household surveys, reflective evaluation workshops with the WNC team and all the local and national project partners, surveys at community engagement events, interviews with householders and an interview with a small business.
